Erebus launched in December of 2014 as a blog with a mission to find the greatest and yet-unknown avant-garde talent in the fashion world. In that time, we have highlighted over 100 new fashion brands and designers and have widened our scope to focus on the issues facing the fashion industry today.
In March of 2016, we have taken the next step in supporting these emerging fashion brands by launching our e-commerce platform, The Shop. We have since partnered with 12 brands who personify our slow fashion values, and that list keeps growing. Building relationships with our brands has allowed them to reach a more diverse range of customers beyond their borders.
Now, in a first for us, we are bridging the gap between The Shop online and the real world. Our fans and press will have the opportunity to experience our brands first-hand in our very first pop up shop! The intimate venue at 278 Hackney Road, just minutes from Hoxton Overground station, Columbia Road Flower Market and Hackney City Farm, will play host to a selection of our slow fashion brands. We open our doors at 10:00 am on Friday November 4, 2016 and will be there for two weeks through Friday the 18th. Going against current trends in the fashion industry and fighting the hyper-capitalism and overconsumption, our designers generally produce each and every garment to order, meaning each piece is hand-crafted and unique. During our pop up shop, you’ll have the chance touch and feel the items then order them through our platform right there, a completely new retail experience.
To celebrate the hard work of our amazing brands and the launch of our flagship pop up, we will be hosting a launch event on Friday the 4th from 19:00-22:00 where you will have the chance to meet some of our amazing designers and hear their stories.
