Kodama Apparel
Natsuko is an Australian-Japanese designer based in Melbourne. Natsuko began their journey into the fashion industry in 2006, though initially had not even considered the impact of the industry on the environment. This journey let to mountains of fast-fashion, trim, fabric that was never used.
Then in 2016, Kodama Apparel was born. Kodama Apparel is a line of gender-neutral streetwear that is stylish and comfortable. The focus is on eco-friendly fibres, such as hemp and organic cotton, and small, local production. The end of the life-cycle of a piece is heavily considered, with pieces crafted to last long then return safely to the earth at the end of their life.
