Our 2020 Black Friday [Weekend]

Our 2020 Black Friday [Weekend]

As you know by now, we like to do things differently. Tis the season where most shops are slashing prices to convince you to buy something you probably don't need. This year, especially this year, it would be amazing if you decided to do something different as well. This global pandemic has decimated small businesses and small charities. We don't do discounts because we don't want you to buy something to gather dust in your closet.

#beHUMAN - It's Time for a Change

It is and always has been a great honour of ours to work with designers who are doing the "right thing" in the industry. Our designers are not only changing the way we work in fashion but also the consciousness of the industry as a whole. One of the latest examples is Saša Maksimiljanovic, the brains and creativity behind the brand MAKS. Below, you can read about her latest project, HUMAN. -The situation we are all in these days is difficult and worrying, but it has given us time to stop and think about everything and hopefully become better people. People...

F#ck COVID-19

As everyone can probably tell by now, this global pandemic is going to change the way we act, live, work, shop, socialize and interact for not just the near future, but for months and possibly years to come. The economic impacts of the COVID-19 virus and the necessary steps we’re all taking to “flatten the curve” and stop the spread of the virus are nothing like we’ve ever seen, with some economists saying it is already worse than the Great Recession of 2008, the fallout of which we are still dealing with in many ways more than a decade later....

Graduate Fashion Week 2018: Ravensbourne

Ravensbourne is always something to look forward to during Graduate Fashion Week. The students here are not afraid to push the boundaries, and the sculpted pieces throughout the show this year are no exception.  Fatima Miñana Fatima's designs were an interesting mis of fabrics, something traditional with something more technical. She even thought about the styling, all the way down to the fabric wrapped booties. Isabel Hibbert Isabel's menswear pieces were a modern take on a Japanese inspired urban dandy. Karolina Dastikaite This collection was full of almost wearable pieces with some bold silhouettes. Isabella Peace The juxtaposition of utilitarian...

Transitions 2.0

I was honoured to be invited to experience this latest exhibition from the students at Ravensbourne, one of our favourite fashion universities in London. For the second year, they partnered with Wrangler, this being their 70th anniversary, for Transitions 2.0. The exhibition took place at Bargehouse in OXO Tower Wharf just on the Thames. The space is an old warehouse, still with its raw industrial feel. The entrance was a wide open space welcoming you in. As you go up to the main event, you passed the works from students of BA (Hons) Digital Photography, BA (Hons) Graphic Design, Year...
