Photographer Alin Gabriel goes behind the lens to explore Phosphene Dream, the latest collection from Atelier Kesa, seen on the streets of Berlin. Take a look inside this collection and hear more about the concept from the designer herself.
« I don’t have a defined concept in mind when starting a collection. I simply draw some sketches and then spend weeks in the studio cutting, sewing, paring etc. When I started the collection I realised that I was disconnected from the city I live in. To feel more comfortable with my environment I had to embrace it, do something with it. « PHOSPHENE DREAM » has been shot in downtown Berlin in a brutalist environment. The idea was to get away from romanticism and work around sensuality. »
