Sandro Marzo
Sandro Marzo is an Italian-born designer, now based in Basel, Switzerland, who launched his own label focusing on the particularity of traditional textiles and re reinvention of classic menswear. The cuts and silhouettes are determined by the texture of the materials The variability of textiles creates a challenge to find a common expression. This process is not to be seen as a mere minimisation, a historical study of materials, but as a continuous development encouraged by the chosen thematic concepts.
Sandro Marzo also supports Verein Ekwal, a charity supporting eduction and environmental responsibility in Kenya.
