So one of our very favourite emerging brands has just debuted their latest womenswear collection! After taking a hiatus from an Autumn Winter womenswear collection, Minoár NON for Spring Summer 16 not only stays true to the very best of the brand, it also works perfectly with the Crust of the Moon menswear collection. The idea behind this collection is the sense of individualism, breaking the need to conform, where one can dress themselves in a way to tell his or her own personal tale.
When you scroll through the pictures below, you can definitely see the marriage between this collection and Crust of the Moon. Similar techniques were used throughout, such as the burnt leather or moulded leather as well as the rigid shapes juxtaposed with the raw edges. Minoár NON also uses the same fabrics as its brother collection, such as the fine silk and linen, hand-knitted hemp, organic cotton and hand-knitted paper yarn. The burnt metal, silver and wood closures are truly unique to Minoár.
The darker colour palette with the touch of deep red also perfectly coordinates with the menswear line. In another nod to sustainable fashion practices, the fabrics were all hand dyed. You can definitely see great attention to detail in this collection, from the fabric choices and tailoring through to the styling of every shot.
While we love every single piece in this collection, the black leather skirt and the red leather sleeveless top with the asymmetric zipper are truly top notch! These luxury pieces are truly timeless
