Army of Me was one of the first emerging brands we wrote about when we started blogging about this side of the fashion industry. We were so excited to see what came down the runway during Amsterdam Fashion Week in January for their Autumn Winter 2016 menswear collection. The Swedish label stayed true to their monochrome roots with a collection of mainly black with white to accent, and asymmetric hemlines throughout. The style of the garments run the gamut from stunning T's and trousers, military inspired functional outerwear all the way to smart (or as "smart" as an avant-garde brand wishes to be) tailoring with some leather bags thrown in. The utilitarian details are one of the things that make this collection stand out from the rest. All of the models walked down the runway in gas masks, and while we are not entirely sure why, we can only assume there is some reference to the global state of affairs. Have a look at the collection below and let us know what you think!
