It is always a pleasure to catch up with Misomber Nuan and see what they've come up with. While visiting Cube Showroom in Paris, I had the chance to see what is coming for Autumn Winter 2017. If you follow us on Instagram, you'll also have noticed that I took the chance to try some of these amazing styles on.
While Misomber Nuan is known for their black, dark style, each season, there is the inclusion of one additional colour and for this season it is a red almost reminiscent of a Beaujolais. Black and red is one of my favourite combinations, so for me, this is the perfect pair.
As with the previous seasons, and staying true to their identity, Self #14 has that androgynous appeal. From the models to the silhouettes and the ruffle details on some of the pieces, even the skirt-like shorts, all of these pieces transcend traditional gender boundaries. Another signature of Misomber Nuan is transformation, which is evident mainly in the outerwear styles. There are always hidden buttons, slits and straps giving you the option to wear each piece in many different ways. The fabric choices, again, for this collection are very luxurious setting them a step ahead of many dark style brands.
Misomber Nuan is how avant-garde does high class.
