Valery Kovalska started in the Ukrainian fashion industry at quite a young age, working in television and music projects starting at 17 when her friends working in the fields starting asking her to make clothes for them. Since then, she has made a splash in the fashion world. She launched her eponymous label in 2010 at the ripe old age of 20! Since then, she's shown during Ukraine Fashion Week and London Fashion Week, as well as taking part in Paris Fashion Week. Her signature style is simple, comfortable elegance by using luxurious fabrics, impeccable tailoring and often bold shapes to enhance the form of the wearer. Valery describes her style as "Downtown Urban Chic." Her Spring Summer 2016 collection appears a bit more traditional then some previous collections, but not less luxurious.
