Luca Bianchini launched his eponymous label in 2014, changing his direction and following his passion for fashion after his training in dentistry. Deciding that becoming a dentist was not in the cards, Luca went to study fashion at the International Fashion School Polimoda in Florence.
The concept of the Luca Bianchini brand is to create timeless and unique pieces in vegetable-tanned leather and oxidised 925 silver. Each piece is made in Tuscany, Italy. The result is artisanal craftsmanship and artful yet functional bags. While vegetable-tanned leather can tend to be a bit more rigid, the bags are expertly crafted to hold their shape yet age differently for each person. from the design to the detailed construction, you can see from the shots below that these bags were designed to last (another key concept of the slow fashion movement). While there are quite a few pieces in this collection, we love all things black so we've showed the black bags for this post.
