Climbatize is a very young fashion brand started in 2014 by Vincenzo Iadicicco which focuses on menswear at the moment. Vincentzo graduated in 2012 from the Academy of Fashion in Naples, Italy having studies design and menswear pattern making. In 2011, he was a finalist in the "XXI National Competition Profession Young Fashion Designers" in Riccione, Italy and one of the contestants in the Men's Style International Fashion Design project in 2014 in Ruse, Bulgaria. Currently, Vincenzo is a finalist to be involved with in the TX3 incubator fashion show in Milan.
Since launching Climbatize, the brand has put out two main collection, Wire and Urban Survival.
The Wire collection focuses on a flurry of artistic movements taking place between 1900 and 1930 in Russia. Broad black brushstrokes are applied on textured textiles with asymmetric cuts. The pieces are finished by hand with nylon wire, harking back to neo-primitivism and abstract works of art. Much research into the choice of fabrics to the colours used helped to create a detachment from traditional notions of fashion.
The Urban Survival collection, according to Vincenzo, is "magic and logic." He has taken natural fibres and fabrics with neutral colours into the urban environment in the form of street wear inspired garment. "Urban survival can be felt everywhere, as well as fashion, which is alive with its own life."
