The Peter Non Autumn Winter 2016 collection is inspired by the theme of “Sub-Abstract”: Substratum is the surface that provides lives to living beings. Abstract is something based on pure theory, without concrete evidence. What is in between? Under the evidence, everything is abstract. This means each real life is based on subjective reality. Emotions are abstract. Hope is abstract. Truth is abstract. We live in the abstract. Our inner core is Sub-Abstract. Continuity and innovation, hand-made treatments and high quality materials, 100% handmade in Italy. Perforated leather with breathable and waterproof membranes, vegetable hand-oiled calf skin, Gore-Tex tanned leather and crust leather sewed with a quilted pattern.
We stopped by the Peter Non showroom during Paris Fashion Week to check out the latest collection. The Autumn Winter 16 collection continues on with some of the favourite shapes from the Spring Summer Adapt collections, both women's and unisex, being updated with more seasonally appropriate materials. Four new Unisex shapes have been added for the season: Apice, Apollo, Pump and Panama as well as the Hora, Sama and winter sandal Uma for the women's collection. They have also used a lighter an-allergic latex foam, cork or rubber for the wedges and water-proofed the unisex boots. They have also expanded the accessory collection this season, adding scored leather laptop cases, some exceptional leather bags and even a few dip-dyed wool shawls. We don't have any shots, but they have also added some beautifully coloured mink slippers like the fur boots in the shot above to the mix.
