As the team over at Minoár have just launched their menswear Spring Summer Crust of the Moon menswear collection in their shop, we get to show you what's next for this Autumn Winter.
The launch of the Parallel collection for Autumn Winter 16 is a bit of departure from the previous collections as the womenswear and menswear are together as one.
Each garment itself stands for the lifetime equality between the minded. ‘Parallel’ is the shaded consciousness. Staying ever strong. The mixture of shapes passes through boundary-less palette of greys, explained in the variety of natural, earthly materials.
The parallel analogy between man and woman infuses the assumption of a mature silhouette covering the mind‘s shelter. Constant sense of timelessness is the summit, the zenith behind the collection. In a peculiar yet distinct way it generates such energy and emotion that explain the cause behind one’s existence.
Where previous collections have used similar techniques and fabrics to tie the menswear and womenswear together (see Cruse of the Moon and Non for Spring Summer 16), for Parallel, the garments have no gender. This collection is a toned down version of the Minoár aesthetic, placing a greater focus on luxurious fabrics, innovative shapes, expert tailoring and exquisite finishing.
Minoár is continually expanding their offering and this season's accessories are really something different. The supple leather bags are stretched over hand-burnt steel structures.
