We were so pleased when our very fashionable friend JP introduced us to this amazing new jewellery brand INNAN and as it turns out, in this small little world, they also know our friends at Murky!
INNAN Jewellery is based in Berlin, Germany. It was founded in 2013 by Ukrainian designer Inna Ida Nechyporenko as a jewellery Atelier. INNAN’s first collection includes mostly female as well as male and unisex capsule pieces. Every design is handcrafted and finished in limited quantities in INNAN’s studio and through a network of selected Berlin artisans. The main materials used are sterling silver as well as 18K gold occasionally highlighted by a variety of energetic gemstones.
The Spring Summer 17 collection is divided into 4 themes: NEBULA, LINEAR, MECHANIC and PLAIN. Slightly imperfect bent shapes, experimenting with massive graphic or abstract textures while at the same time keeping the outcome elegant and clean are signature characteristics of INNAN, which is reflected in each theme. The idea of expanding rings over multiple fingers is often present as a certain style obsession shaped in metal.
Each piece is represented by a personality. Portraits of people from all over the world coming from various backgrounds, living different life stories are gathered together in “Faces of INNAN”, an online gallery on INNAN’s webpage. You can see a sample of the portraits here.
