One Wolf is an emerging label from Latvia which launched in 2012. During Paris Fashion Week they showed off their latest collection, Ghost City for Spring Summer 2017. Their signature style is to work with denim like no other brand out there. The One Wolf aesthetic is truly genderless with a lot of oversized silhouettes which work for any body. They use luxurious denim and interesting treatments, such as laser cutting little holes to add texture, to take this wardrobe staple and turn into something fashionable. They produce all of their items in Latvia, giving the local craftsman jobs and the opportunity to influence the fashion industry.
We fell in love with Ghost City when we saw these campaign images. The team from One Wolf really know how to style their denim to create really avant-garde looks with something so staple as denim, which is a fantastic ability. They've also used a lot of hand-crafted details throughout the collection to add depth and intrigue to the pieces, which can be seen in some of the patches where they were applied before washing the denim then removed to allow the original colour of the denim to show through.
Our favourite pieces in the collection are the grey, some with a sheen and some with the laser cut texture. In a sea of blue, they truly stand out.
