Army of Me is an emerging Swedish fashion label getting it’s start in Stockholm in 2008, the invention of Daniel Wahlberg and Richard Sjöblom. Though they began the label with a small collection of only 8 styles, they are now in stores around the globe as well as their own store at Bergsgatan 49, 112 31 Stockholm, Sweden. The concept of the brand is simple, beautiful tailoring with an avant-garde twist and understated yet beautiful attention to the minor details.
While the label would appear at first glance to be a menswear brand, the inherent masculinity juxtaposed with feminine elements creates beautiful agender apparel. This is beautifully illustrated in the latest catwalk presentation in which female and male models are walking in similar, if not the same, garments. The palette is mainly black with drops of white and even a bit of orange in the Autumn Winter 2015 collection.
